My name is Dirk De Hertogh and everything started 20 years ago within a world leading American multinational, Philip Morris. Here I have built a solid foundation in sales and marketing. First as a “Marketing & Sales trainee” and then quickly grow into the positions of Sales Analyst, Supervisor Planning and eventually District Manager.

In 2010 I made the switch to the French multinational BIC (world player in the field of stationary, razor blades and lighters) to be part of the Benelux management team as Field Sales Manager and to manage the entire field sales organization within the Benelux.

In that period I took the opportunity to acquire expertise as a Key Account for the largest retail chains such as Colruyt, Delhaize, Carrefour, Makro, Kruidvat, Sligro and others.

In 2013 a new challenge came into my career within the “La Lorraine Bakery Group”. Another global player, but this time within food, more specifically an industrial bakery.

Here I became responsible as Sales Manager for the Panesco brand in Belgium and Luxembourg. These were the first steps in the Foodservice channel.

This position was expanded in 2016 to Sales Manager Panesco & Dauphine / La Lorraine for the Belux organization.

Kaasbrik came knocking on the door in 2018. This is a Belgian company that specializes in shredding and packaging different types of cheese and sells it in 22 countries around the world. As Sales Director and together with the sales team we let the company grow in a sustainable way.

Finally after 20 years of experience in sales and general management with a lot of knowledge and expertise, the time has come for me to start my own Management & Consulting firm.

The focus is on companies and organizations with opportunities in general (sales) management, change management, team management, business development and trade marketing.

This can be done via interim management or on a consultative basis.

The approach is “down-to-earth” and based on knowledge and experience.

I can express myself fluently and professionally in Dutch, French and English.
